Studying

For decades, Women of Faith have gathered to study the Word together.

Season after season, God has used Scripture, prayer, conversation, and friendship to form women more and more into the likeness of Christ.

This fall, we invite you to join us.

Whether you are new to Faith Church, new to Bible study, or have been gathering with Women of Faith for many years, there is a place for you to open God’s Word with other women and be encouraged as we follow Jesus together.

Fall Bible studies begin Wednesday, September 9, with morning, evening, and Zoom options available. Childcare is available for Wednesday studies.

Explore the fall studies below and register for the one that best fits your season and schedule.

Dressed for Faithfulness

Leader: Brittany Johnson
When: Wednesdays at 6:30 AM
Where: Zoom

Before Paul describes the armor of God, Scripture calls us to “put on” the attitudes and practices that shape a faithful life. Together we’ll explore how these foundational layers prepare our hearts to stand firm in faith and walk faithfully in everyday life.

Jonah and the God He Worships

Leader: Mandy Schloneger
When: Wednesdays at 9:30 AM
Where: Room 152, with Zoom optional

Jonah’s story invites us to consider both the heart of God and the condition of our own hearts. Together we’ll observe Jonah’s words, actions, and attitudes as we ask how God reveals Himself, pursues His people, and invites us to join Him in Kingdom work.

Benedictions in the Bible

Leader: Brenda Soderstrom
When: Wednesdays at 9:30 AM
Where: Room 254

Biblical benedictions are more than closing words at the end of a worship service. Together we’ll explore selected benedictions as rich starting places for Bible study, encouragement, prayer, and faithful living.

Joshua: Every Good Promise Fulfilled

Leaders: Ann Benson; Beth Straw and Darla Leatherman
When: Wednesdays at 9:30 AM or 6:30 PM
Where: 9:30 AM in Room 246; 6:30 PM in Room 252

In this verse-by-verse study, Jen Wilkin helps us see that God’s commands are rooted in His steadfast love. As we study Joshua, we’ll be reminded to stand firm in faith, resist temptation, and trust in the finished work of the true and better Joshua, Jesus Christ.

BSF: Romans

Faith Church is a satellite host for BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). We host a weekly women’s group on Thursdays at 9:30 AM. Starting in September, the group will be studying the book of Romans. In this study, you’ll discover how the God who saves also transforms, moving us from striving to surrender, from fear to faith, and from guilt to grace. Registration fills up quickly and is open now!

Natural Connections

Throughout the year, Women of Faith offers informal opportunities to connect, create, serve, learn, and enjoy time together.

These may include creative gatherings, service opportunities, book discussions, outings, and other events designed to help women build relationships and share life beyond Sunday mornings.

Stay Connected

Women of Faith uses several spaces to help women stay informed and connected.

Our public Facebook page and Instagram account are the best places to find official Women of Faith updates, sponsored events, registration reminders, and seasonal announcements.

We also have a private Facebook group for women at Faith Church. The group is a more informal place to connect with other women, ask questions, and share everyday invitations—things like walks, playdates, needle crafting, hikes, meals, or other casual ways to spend time together. The group is private so conversations and invitations can be shared within the Faith Church women’s community. If you are a woman at Faith and would like to join, visit the Women of Faith (Private Group) and request access.

Women of Faith Podcast

The Women of Faith Podcast shares stories from women at Faith Church so we can know one another more deeply and be encouraged by the ways God is at work in our lives.

As we listen to one another’s stories, we are reminded that we are part of the same body of believers—and that God often uses ordinary lives, honest conversations, and shared experiences to help us feel more connected and less alone.

Listen to the Women of Faith Podcast through the Faith Church Indy app under the “Grow” section, search for “Women of Faith Podcast” on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or listen online.

If you’d like to share your story, email women@faithliveitout.org  to start a conversation.

Intentional Relationships

Mentoring has long been one way generations of women at Faith have encouraged one another in life with Christ.

Scripture reminds us that, in Christ, we belong to one another. From that reality, we are both invited and empowered to love one another well—with wisdom, humility, prayer, encouragement, and faithful presence.

Women of Faith offers mentoring opportunities through both small groups and one-on-one relationships. Some are organized around a specific season, topic, or format, while others grow more naturally through relationships between women in different seasons of life.

At its heart, mentoring is not about having all the answers. It is about walking together as we follow Jesus—listening, praying, sharing honestly, learning from Scripture, and encouraging one another to live faithfully in the places God has called us.
