The Essential Commandment

Wednesdays at 6:30 AM  //  Zoom
Led by Jenni Mohr

When Jesus states the most important commandment as well as to love others as yourselves, He was not saying we could do it on our own, but that it is essential to our lives as disciples of Christ. We’ll use The Essential Commandment: A Disciple’s Guide to Loving Good and Others by Greg Ogden to guide the study; we will work through half of this study this fall. The study goes from September 22nd through October 22nd. You can purchase the book online or at Faith before the study begins.

Seek Ye First

Wednesdays at 9:30 AM  //  In person at Faith
Led by Margaret Johnston

Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek God’s Kingdom first in our lives. As Christians it is easy to become confused about power, rule and rights. By returning to the book of Matthew where Jesus discusses the Kingdom of God, truth about our citizenship can help us seek first His Kingdom. In this study, we’ll read the book Seek First the Kingdom of God by Christine Hoover. The study goes from September 22nd through November 10th. You can purchase the book online or at Faith before the study begins.

Elijah: Obedience in a Threatening World

Wednesdays at 9:30 AM  //  In person at Faith
Led by Mandy Schloneger

Study the book Elijah: Obedience in a Threatening World by Robbie Castleman with other women at Faith. This character study offers strong guidance for those who want to build their faith and prayer life.” Elijah was challenged to live an obedient life, but sometimes it was very difficult to do so. The study goes from September 22nd through November 17th. You can purchase the book online or at Faith before the study begins.

How Much More

Wednesdays at  6:30-8 PM  //  In person at Faith – Room 252
Led by Beth Straw

Beginning September 15th, we are studying How Much More by Lisa Harper. In this 7-session Bible study, we’ll focus on God’s divine love in a number of often overlooked and misunderstood passages.  We may be reminded that Jehovah of the Old Testament is the same redemptive and compassionate God we see through Jesus Christ in the New Testament. He has always been and will always be for us!
