Join us for Bible Study

Spring 2025

This year we’re offering two Wednesday Women’s Bible Studies for the spring. Click here for registration.

Check out our Bible Study offerings below:

Sole Care: A Study of Foot Washing and Faith
This study will explore the narrative texts that feature foot washing in the New Testament, including 3 foot washing events recorded in the Gospels, as well as a passage in 1 Timothy, where Paul mentions foot washing as a sign of Christian hospitality and service among widows in the early church.  On the fourth week, we will also do a 21st Century “foot washing” act of service as a way of living out the Word.
  • Wednesdays 9:30-11:00 AM in Room 210
  • 4 week study beginning April 23
  • Led by Ruth Hubbard
  • Cost: free
Encountering God: Cultivating Habits of Faith Through Spiritual Disciplines by Kelly Minter
Spiritual disciplines are essential to a more vibrant spiritual life and knowing God more intimately.  In this Bible study, join Kelly Minter as she unpacks the biblical foundation for these sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Instead of being just one more thing on your to-do list, you’ll find that these habits of faith can actually create more margin in your life—providing peace and rest as you walk closer with Jesus.
  • Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 PM in Room 252
  • 7 week study beginning March 26
  • Led by Beth Straw, Darla Leatherman, and Maren Breitwieser
  • Cost: $15.00

Woman of Faith Podcast

We’re gathering stories of women at Faith and will be sharing them over our women’s podcast stream. The goal is for you to hear other’s stories and feel more connected to the body of believers because you too, can resonate and relate to what’s being shared. If you’d like to share your story, email women@faithliveitout.org!

There are three ways to listen to the podcast:
1. Listen on our App – Our Faith Church Indy app has this podcast under the “Grow” section.
2. Listen on Spotify –  It is searchable on Spotify if you just search “women of faith podcast.”

3. Listen with Apple Podcasts – Women will need to search “women of faith podcast” and it’s the 15th option, but it’s there!

4. Listen in a web browser and using this link: https://women-of-faith.fireside.fm/

Connect and Grow.

Wherever you are in your journey, the Women of Faith invite you to join us in learning together.

Sometimes life can feel isolating and overwhelming at the same time. Don’t go at it alone! We want you to know your identity and understand your purpose, which is why we’re committed to nurturing your spiritual and emotional life through biblical teaching, friendship, outings, and events. Join the Women of Faith to explore deeper relationships and find encouragement to live out your faith.

Mentoring

We periodically run 6-month mentoring series for small groups of womeon. We’re offering a new series for Spring 2025 that will focus on training women in studying the Word of God.  It is intended to train women in wise handling of the Word of God and to encourage women to consider and practice opportunities to share the Word as a discipler, small group facilitator, and/or teacher of the Word. Three mentors will join 6-9 group members to form the group. The group will meet once per month beginning this April. Spots are limited. To express interest, contact Kelly Martin at 317-374-2204.
