A Study of 1 John

1 John is a letter urging believers to live out genuine faith marked by love, obedience, and truth. It reassures Christians of their relationship with God and challenges them to reflect His character in everyday life.

You are a Theologian by Jen Wilkin and J.T. English

Theology can be intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be.  The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself.  This study will use the book You are a Theologian by Jen Wilkin and J.T. English to address theological questions such as “Who is God?” “What is the Bible?” and “Who are we?”

Leader: Melissa Ho
When: Wednesdays, 9:30 AM (Through April 2)
Where: Room 152 & Zoom Optional
Cost: $14

The Way of Wisdom: Proverbs

In this study (written by Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson, and Courtney Doctor) you are invited to place your feet firmly on the path of life revealed in the book of Proverbs. As you consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management, leadership influence, and more, you’ll discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.

Leader: Audri Witham, Kayley Davis, and Claire Kingsley
When: Wednesdays, 9:30 AM (Through March 11)
Where: Room 254
Cost: $22

Trusting in Times of Chaos

Confound, confusion, chaos are words that we hope do not describe our relationships, our lives or our world. And yet, there are times when that’s exactly what we are feeling, and even perhaps seeing all around us. As a Christ follower, what is my reaction to a feeling of chaos? In this inductive study, we want to explore how chaos affects us and examine what scripture says about our response to that which is not in our control.

Leader: Jenni Mohr
When: Wednesdays, 9:30 AM (Through February 25)
Where: Room 246
Cost: $5

More Than Enough: 2 Corinthians by Christine Hoover

This study guides you through one of Paul’s most personal letters to discover how God is the ultimate source of the strength and sufficiency you need. You’ll find that God gives you strength to go on—through troubles, disappointments, and temptations—and strength to go forth, equipping you to serve Him and compelling you to share the gospel.

Leader: Beth Straw, Darla Leatherman, & Maren Breitwieser
When: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM (Through March 18)
Where: Room 252

Woman of Faith Podcast

We’re gathering stories of women at Faith and will be sharing them over our women’s podcast stream. The goal is for you to hear other’s stories and feel more connected to the body of believers because you too, can resonate and relate to what’s being shared. If you’d like to share your story, email women@faithliveitout.org!

There are three ways to listen to the podcast:
1. Listen on our App – Our Faith Church Indy app has this podcast under the “Grow” section.
2. Listen on Spotify –  It is searchable on Spotify if you just search “women of faith podcast.”

3. Listen with Apple Podcasts – Women will need to search “women of faith podcast” and it’s the 15th option, but it’s there!

4. Listen in a web browser and using this link: https://women-of-faith.fireside.fm/

Connect and Grow.

Wherever you are in your journey, the Women of Faith invite you to join us in learning together.

Sometimes life can feel isolating and overwhelming at the same time. Don’t go at it alone! We want you to know your identity and understand your purpose, which is why we’re committed to nurturing your spiritual and emotional life through biblical teaching, friendship, outings, and events. Join the Women of Faith to explore deeper relationships and find encouragement to live out your faith.

Mentoring

Women of Faith offers periodic small group mentoring opportunities. Groups meet monthly, over the course of 6 months to be discipled by a group of older women. They focus on different guiding topics to encourage your personal walk with Christ and God-centered bonds with another woman at Faith. Pray, grow, and be encouraged! Contact by email if you’re interested: women@faithchurchindy.com.
