Screen Dependency & Mental Health Seminar

Our FaithKids and FSM Ministries have teamed up to provide a new learning opportunity for parents and grandparents. We are hosting a speaker from ScreenStrong to share the latest research on kids’ brains in relationship to screens and technology and give ideas of what good tech boundaries could look like at home. ScreenStrong is passionate about empowering families to prevent screen addiction and reclaim their kids from problematic screen use (social media, video games, and pornography). Their solutions are not screen-free; rather they replace toxic screen use with healthy activities, life skill development, and family connections.

FaithKids and FSM desire to come alongside parents to partner with you and be some of your biggest advocates. Faith Church will be providing childcare services in order for parents to attend this free event!

The Details:

– This FREE event does require pre-registration. General seminar registration closes on the morning of 8/9. Registration for childcare for the event closes on 8/6.

– Please plan to arrive at 6:15 PM to get your children settled in the KidZone. The presentation will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.

– We would love for you to think about the people you’re raising your kids alongside: grandparents, neighbors, friends, school families…and invite them to join you to the seminar! Let’s fill our space!
