Faith Family Celebration
We’re holding a church family celebration on Sunday, August 1. We’re combining all of the things we’ve missed out on in the last year: one all-church worship service, a celebration picnic, and baptisms!
Here are all the details:
∙ Pastor Jeff will continue our series in Proverbs.
∙ The service will be live streamed as usual.
∙ Baptisms will follow the service in the Gathering Space.
∙ No sermon childcare on Sunday, but childcare for nursery-preschool is available for the whole service.
∙ We will head outside to enjoy our family picnic and let the kids play after service.
∙ We are providing hot dogs and burgers. Please bring a dish to share that can serve 10-12 people and chairs or blankets for the outdoor picnic.
∙ If you’re bringing an item to share that you need to keep cold, please bring it in a cooler and/or leave it in your car. We won’t have fridge space to store items before the picnic.
∙ We will have some water and lemonade, but you can bring your own drinks if you want something else. That would also keep our volunteers from having to refill coolers.
As we gather together this coming Sunday, we will be in a larger group than normal. We recognize that for a variety of reasons some may wear masks, others will feel more comfortable without masks, and some may choose to wear masks to make others feel more comfortable. Our desire is for all to feel welcomed and be able to focus on our time together in the Lord’s presence, and we rejoice in our ability to gather united in worship of our great Savior as the body of Jesus Christ.
We still need some help with set up and tear down on Sunday. Willing to lend a hand? Click below to sign up.
