Lenten Resources

We appreciate the rhythms of worship season-by-season in the church calendar. Lent provides us a specific “appointed time” where we can tell God we hurt. We can come clean over failed relationships, broken promises, selfish greed, destructive pride, the times we have failed to love and cherish God and others. It is in confessing that we join with others before God in need of his renewal and his healing. Lament opens us up to not only healing but renewal.

This is big. And we don’t want you to feel alone while navigating this season. Here are ways you can engage with the church body and connect to the Lord intentionally.

Every Moment Holy Devotional

Pick up a free guide at the Info Desk. This is a low-stakes devo, you can do one reflection each week during Lent.

Worship Playlist

When you like the playlist “Lent 2024” you’ll be able to play the songs we plan to sing throughout the season. Find the playlist by searching for “Lent 2024” or clicking this link. Follow our profile Faith Church Worship for more content like this in the future!

One-on-One Support

We want Faith to be a church of help, hope, and healing. Spending time in Lamentations to acknowledge losses, sorrow, and disappointment can surface pains that we may need others to help us process. We all need friends who will walk through our laments – and hopefully – offer care and help. We have a team of trained lay caregivers who would be glad to come alongside you confidentially and offer help. To seek support, you can email care@faithchurchindy.com, complete this Care Intake Form, or stop by the table for Stephen Ministry on a Sunday.

Family Devotional Guide

Written for ages 7 and up, we want to guide elementary through high school families in worship and reflection.  Mirroring the adult devotional in content and frequency, it should feel doable while still being intentional! This resource is digital, sign up to receive your once-per-week text on Sunday by texting “Family Lent Resource” to 855.581.0388.

  • FaithKids is also offering a Holy Week book to lead your family through those few days. You can purchase your book, Darkest Night, Brightest Day by February 23 – just click the link below! You can pick up your book by March 3rd at the KidZone Desk.
