Gathering Together
Anticipating restrictions beginning to lift in our community, the Elder Executive Board (EEB) has been discussing Faith’s response and how we plan to proceed. At this time, we will continue to provide resources for Worship-At-Home at least through May 17th. It is possible we’ll continue to gather in our homes for worship well into June, but that decision will be made in coming weeks as the situation develops. Also, our Spring congregational meeting is scheduled for May 31. We don’t yet know whether or how we will meet, but the EEB is also considering options for that important gathering.
Your church leadership is making these decisions with everyone’s health and safety in mind. We are all eager to gather back together soon, and when we do, we’ll be sure to celebrate! But in the meantime, the EEB believes it is important to help break the cycle of the pandemic in our community and watch out for everyone’s health and safety.
Please continue to utilize the resources we publish each weekend to worship as a unified body of believers with a unified mission. We will continue to pray for all of you and keep you informed in the coming weeks.
