We have all arrived safely in Nairobi!
We had a full day on July 1 meeting with some NEGST leaders, attending chapel service, graduation banquet, and a faculty dinner. July 2 we traveled 3.5 hours to meet with a group of 64 rural pastors and church leaders whose only training is through a NEGST outreach program. We worshipped with them and delivered study bibles which Faith helped purchase. They were incredibly welcoming and overjoyed to receive this precious gift. July 3 morning Jeff speaks at graduation.
We appreciate your prayers and support!

A meet-up at a NEGST faculty dinner between the NEGST team, the Dunkers and the Mohlers – who were finishing up their own Kenyan tour.

As previously mentioned, we drove 3.5 hours to a rural area to pass out new ESV Bibles to previously untrained pastors and church leaders who are now 8 months into a 36 month holistic pastoral training program. These people were so grateful for the Bibles as well as clearly being touched that we would come so far to visit them. After hours of expressing their appreciation to us and glorifying God, these people honored us by serving us a meal out of what little they had.

Pastor Jeff delivered the Guest of Honor’s Address at the AIU commencement challenging the graduates to listen for God’s call, drawing on Paul’s vision of a man pleading with him to, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” He encouraged the graduates to hold on to their own plans loosely and be ready to follow wherever God leads, trusting Him to guide them to those who are waiting for His help.
