The Elder Executive Board recently met with the rest of the elders and a group of physicians from Faith to consider whether the rise in COVID cases would suggest a change in our policies. At this time, we have decided not to change our mask-optional policy. Some will understandably be more comfortable wearing masks, and we welcome those who do. We will continue to provide online worship. We ask that in all these difficult decisions we are driven not by voices of fear or anger in our culture, but by faith in “God [who] gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (2Tim 1:7).
